How to avoid a dusting attack

The Autorite de Controle Prudentiel et de Resolution (ACPR) and the Autorite des Marches Financiers (AMF) have issued a warning against Omega Pro Ltd. The regulatory authorities have revealed that Omega Pro Ltd has been offering forex trading services to the locals without authorization.

The regulators have revealed that the particular firm is unauthorized and unregistered to offer financial trading services to the locals in France.

The regulators have also warned the investors that this is not the first time the firm has attempted to deceive investors in France. The firm has been coming back with little alterations to its names after getting blocked time after time.

In the past, the regulators have banned and blacklisted the website that reportedly operated the same company back in 2020. Turns out, the same company has opened up a new website to reach out to the French locals offering them forex trading services.

Warning by the Regulators

The Autorite de Controle Prudentiel et de Resolution (ACPR) and the Autorite des Marches Financiers have revealed that Omega Pro Ltd is not a registered entity in France. Thus, it cannot offer financial services or products to the people or investors in France.

Still, the firm is doing it, which is against the French law. It is extremely harmful for the investors to keep interacting with the firm even after knowing its true identity and the false claims it is making.

For the investors, it should be enough to know that the firm has been coming back by changing its website so it can continue targeting the French audience.

Omega Pro Ltd is not registered

The regulator has confirmed that Omega Pro Ltd is not registered to operate and offer its services anywhere in France at all. The firm has been misrepresenting itself in front of the French investors claiming that it is registered.

In reality, the firm is not registered to operate in France. In France, the regulatory authorities authorized to issue license to the financial firms to operate in France are ACPR and AMF.

However, the firm is not registered to offer its services in France at all. Therefore, the firm is misrepresenting itself and it is trying to lure investors by gaining their trust.

Omega Pro Ltd Website was banned back in 2020 as well

This is not the first time Omega Pro Ltd has made it to the spotlight for running operations in France. It was in the year 2020 when Omega Pro Ltd had caught the attention of the regulatory and law enforcement authorities in France.

Multiple complaints were raised by the investors from France surrounding the company. Therefore, both the regulators had made the decision of blacklisting the particular website: www.omegapro.world. To be precise, the first time the platform had been banned was back on August 6, 2020.

At that time, it was revealed that the company had been targeting multiple jurisdictions within the Polynesian region. The AMF has already revealed that it does not support firms that are involved in offering multiple trading training services and benefits to the investors.

Another Company by Omega Pro Limited

The regulators have confirmed that Omega Pro Limited is operating another website in France, which is: www.businessempire.fr. The website is also claiming to be registered offering huge returns to the investors against their investments. The firm is claiming that it is providing 300% returns against the investments the investors have to make.

The regulatory authorities have reminded the entire investment community in France to stay wary and cautious of firms like Omega Pro Limited.

The regulators have reminded the locals that trading in Forex is full of risks. The risk level only grows higher if the services are being offered by an unregulated entity. If the investors end up losing their funds to such platform, they may not be able to recover them at all.
